This is not intended to be a step by step guide to making the most amazing sims 2 video ever. It addresses common mistakes made by noobie film makers and ways to avoid them. We’ve provided a list of links to tutorials, movie maker objects and other fun goodies that will help you with your sims 2 movies. Remember, there is no secret to making a great sims 2 video. This is by no means meant to tell you HOW to make a video, but guidelines that have worked for all of us when filming and editing. The post processing section is only suggestions on less dramatic effects that can be just as effective as crazy-over-the-top effects a lot of people tend to overuse. We’re not telling anyone what to do, so don’t get the wrong idea from this. It is simply to help people who really don’t know what to do next. This video is aimed that people who use Sony Vegas, because that seems to be more common editor for sims 2 videos. @TheSimmer01 Wax is pretty good, but it isn’t as easy to use. You can greenscreen and add some pretty awesome titles and effects but it isn’t as good as vegas and it isn’t ast easy to use as WMM but if you’re willing to learn it’s a step up from WMM. It’s completely free just google it and youtube has some pretty good tutorials on using it.

@mightybeangal22 If you use sony vegas click the clip your using and there’s a box icon on it and click it if you don’t see it then right click it and it will say pan crop. When the box pops up at the top click the drag box and you’ll see widescreen.
