I’ll give my left kidney to have been at that concert !!! To have heard DIO sing Rainbow – LIVE – Jesus Christ man…..
Jesus H. Christof! Back to Yngwie vs. Ritchie? This should be a celebration of metal’s most gifted singer! I grew up on Ritchie. He is my favorite guitarist because I approach the instrument the same way he does- it’s INSTINCT after 32 years. Yngwie is a fucking genius who stood on RB’s shoulders, sped it up, and opened the gate for Vinnie Moore, MacAlpine, and Greg Howe. Go listen to the song Marching Out- Plenty of “feeling”. The point? There’s never been a voice like Dio’s. J. Dewar’s either
@turns2gold beautiful man, you hit the nail on the head bro
the reason why blackmore and dio never had a good repore was because blackmore wanted to be the shit kinda like yngwie’s attitude but dio being a killer singer …dio over ruled ……
one of the best songs they did together, i love the dio blackmore stuff
@Cannibal666Corpse
Yo bro do me a favor bro & check out the 1st video in my favorites (good person) Thanks man!
long live rock and roll indeed
The music is as eternal spirit has no end
Blackmore & Dio!! What a treat!! Thanks for posting !!
After the show he came out the backstage door to sign autographs and when he got to me the pen ran out of ink. Dio Waited with me while a roadie went to get another pen.So good to his fans, take it from me
Dio was really cool to me. Black @Blue tour
May 16, 2011 – RIP RJD! m/ m/
God of Guitar is Ritchie Blackmore !
Richie really thought he was the shit back then lol. You know he hates that Dio became more well known then him .
i hate blackmore
even i accept to he is good guitarist
Thanks for this! I miss both Dio and Powell.
you are and will always be the absolute greatest of all born and unborn singers…i truly feel someone is missing…
boy, just like the album..no embellishment or watering down..Cozy’s cymbals are perfect..The best early stuff I’ve seen, right at the time b4 they substitute players & play it a million times . The right place & time for those ticket holders !
dio would know, he rocked the place to the ground eons ago, then rocked the parthian city that was built after it
wow, what can i say..ive got tears in my eyes, this is beautyfull!
Dio was the greatest voice in ROCK!!! Legendary!!! Hail DIO!!!
Hope you Guys Enjoy My Version. Long Live DIO
A ver si en estos tiempos de mierda hay algun grupo de rock de este talento grandes los 60s 70s y 80s!
Memories, had the pleasure of seeing them about a week after the release of the album in San Bernardino, Ca. Ritchie just killed that night and with another great guitarist opening….Ronnie Montrose. Now as far as all these Yngwie comparisons PU-LEASE…last time I saw him live jeez. the over indulgence…riffing solos between every song just going off, hell he opened the show like that that by the 4th-5th tune nobody was diggin it but him and I’ll leave it at that
this is absolutely f*u*c*k*i*n*g magic
Dio in terms of outstanding vocal ability in Rock and Metal was ‘the man’ I’ve seen anyone worth seeing and he was just in a different league to the other genuinely great singers. A true legend! Saw him with several times Black Sabbath, Dio and Heaven and Hell a little too young to see him with Bklacmore’s Rainbow. Ronnie you’re still the man! Pocket Dynamite blows everyone else away!
