How to solder monocrystalline solar cells into DIY solar pannels for bikes

How to solder monocrystalline solar cells into DIY solar pannels for use on any bike, scooter, vehicle. These are high efficiency mono crystalline cells with three bars, great for low light conditions. These can be found everywhere online, but dont pay more than per watt Soldering the cells can be tricky so it is a good idea to always order several more cells than you require for your DIY solar project. Usually a seller would include a couple extra cells, but mostly good idea to buy a couple more anyways. Because most cells sold individually are in some way rejected for manufacturing into solar panels by the original company they go for a cheaper price. I will be offering a link to the best deal online here soon, so be sure to check back often or subscribe to solar bike panels channel. more video soon, showing pannels on an actual working electric bike !

a shame you have condensation on the inside of the panel this means your panels days are numbered. diypowercomany has instructions to help this

@JimmyLindstr0m I agree. and I wonder if a special circuit of voltage comparitors, and super capacitors, and pwm cap dump/pulsers could sort out the “energy” mess. You know? Each panel (at least) gets wired into an input channel.

To bad though that te total wattage is based on the smallest cell in the line….
so if u have a small one, try ti paralell it in side of the serie connection to higher the output. if u take 2 small ones u might get more wattage than the biggest one :) (on that one ofc, then u have a new weak spot in the chain).

    Happy hunting those pesky watts!
